When our team heard about the work of YWAMships in PNG we knew we had to help.

 

So, we called on our friends, our colleagues, family and clients to join us by supporting our fund raising venture or by signing up to their own "Overcome The Impossible" challenge.

Did you know that Papua New Guinea is #152 on the Human Development Index while Australia is #2? 5 women in Papua New Guinea die in childbirth every day, 1 in 13 children die before the age of 5 and someone dies from Tuberculosis every 2 hours — this is just right off our coast. 

For over five years, YWAM Medical Ships (MSA) have transported medical teams into remote areas of Papua New Guinea to deliver vital healthcare and training to the people. In order for their life-saving work to continue, MSA will need to raise $5 million for a new ship.

It sounds like an impossible figure, but I believe it is possible to overcome.

In the words of Nelson Mandela - it's only Impossible until it's done!

As a way of helping make this possible, Team Schein members will be joining this team and undertaking their own Impossible challenge but they need your support and encouragement to succeed.  Any monies raised will go directly to helping YWAM fund their new medical ship, helping our neighbours in Papua New Guinea.
